That new baby smell is always nice. In fact, everything should smell like baby. Even more so, anything connected to babies makes everything cute and cuddly. Babies can make adults ridiculously cheesy because babies are precious and new. And because babies are precious and new, we believe they deserve nothing but the best- organic products that will not be harmful and also serve the purpose, time and tested advice, and good old cloth baby diapers.

Don’t think that the practice of using cloth diapers is archaic. It may have been tradition for a lot of parents, but there are good and solid reasons why they’re good for your baby- not to mention its resurgence as a chic alternative to disposable ones. The choice is not really all that hard for parents. Go for cotton? Or go for synthetic fibers? Cloth baby diapers are a no-brainer when it comes to your baby’s comfort. You can even consider yourself a more attentive eco-warrior parent!

To the eco-warrior parent, cloth diapers save the environment through the less use of disposable plastics, which take up a lot of space in landfills and take at least 500 years to decompose. Children are more likely to learn how to use the potty faster because they don’t want the wet feeling of a soiled nappy.

Having a brand new baby also takes a lot of expense. Disposable diapers take up the bulk of your expenses. By switching to cloth diapers, you are able to save more because of its reusable nature. Parents are now learning to be smart about how to provide the best possible care for their children and still have a little something extra for their college tuition and extracurricular activities. In this day and age, where more is demanded from us, we are learning how to cope with meeting the demands of everyday life and bringing more TLC for our children, which is probably why there is a resurgence of going back to our roots; back to basics so to speak.   

Cloth baby diapers are only one of the many things we are going back to, relearning our roots and yet being more widely aware of the differences which affect our children. It is not easy to raise kids but all we are, after all, only taking baby steps too.
