I went to high school at Mt Holly High before my parents moved me to Michigan. I loved go to the Jersey shore in the summer time. I have lived in Nashville for the last twenty years. I love it here.
I have worked in food service all of my life. In Michigan the state offered a food safety sanitation course. In Nashville the course is offered by the Health Department and is pretty cheap as far as costs go. Here we have to take a serving alcohol with care course or we cannot sell liquor by the bottle or glass. What about NJ?
I like your article. I agree it is important for food service workers to know the proper procedures for handling food and how to store as well as keep a kitchen clean. Food poisoning is no joke and improperly handled food and non-cleanliness of workers are major factors involved.
Thanks for sharing. I will read more.
